Reeling from the pain as her fangs pierce his flesh

he was defenseless, his heart a blissful mess

he feels her poison flow through his veins

a sensation inside that soothes like falling rain

The venom that spews from within her soul

is like a captivating high that engulfs him whole

he's a slave to her now, he cannot escape her

the reason he cant let go? even he cannot decipher

Her wish, his every command, his heart hers to spare

people say he's stupid, but for some reason she's beyond compare

her venomous grasp flows through his every blood cell

the poison in his heart, would send any normal person to hell

But for him it's like heaven, he wouldn't let go for anything

because simply he was captured by her smile so enchanting

her beauty was timeless, not only in body but also in spirit

he struggles to free himself and if he did, he couldn't bare it

She is like an angel, but she's also a devil to him

for her, he almost instantly he'd go out on a limb

the battle in his heart continuous and when push comes to shove

How do you not see that we're all the same?

Doesn't anyone see people as human anymore?

Human beings of flesh and blood, only different by name,

the most dominant species in the world, with absolutely nothing to show

So we all believe in different things, 

different gods, different lifestyles, different rules,

all this hate, what justice does it bring?

Why believe incoherent ramblings preached by ignorant fools?

We don't have to have an education,

to know whats innately wrong,

sadly it isn't a new situation,

it's the same old hateful song

There's all this talk of 'blood' these days,

and funnily it is the very thing that binds us all

it flows through each and everyone in much the same way

if this situation is not defused, it will be our ultimate downfall

Enough of this disgraceful and idiotic behavior

it's going to be the death of us, you're a murderous bunch of misfits

You're just ignorant idiots and you're nobody's savior

you need professional help, and you bloody well know it

We all want the best we can get from life,

We all live under the same sun and moon each day,

We all want to feel the love of our family and of a husband or wife,

To watch our children grow and to see another day

We're one blood, whether Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian or Jew, 

We're one blood, whether Black, White, Arab, Latino or Asian

We're one blood, one flesh, one, one species, all of us, not just a few

We're one blood, one heart, one flag, one people and one Nation

Lets not ruin this world further with all this unjust hate

lets move forward together, through the rain of tears that flood 

and not let another war be this countries ill gotten fate

let peace prevail, let hearts unite, for we will always be united by one blood

Can't we all get along?

Old is gold but old stories don’t need to be retold.
We just ended one war, why do we want to start another?
Can’t you see that it’s the same old song playing with a different beat?
We're watching the same movie over and over again, only the actors change.
Why are we trying to alienate ourselves from each other when we’re all the same?
Why are we trying to divide when we’re obviously stronger as one?
We aren’t born with hate; it’s something that we were taught,
Egotistical and selfish people thinking only about only themselves,
Plant the seeds of hate and doubt based on baseless lies in innocent minds,
So that they can mint their money while they watch the rest of the world crash and burn.
The world is our and ours alone, it won’t break unless we break it.
Let’s stop hating and accept we’re different but still the same and live in harmony.
Let’s put our past behind us and as Michael Jackson once said…
“Heal the world; make it a better place, for you and for me, and the entire human race.”
A place we can live in, a place our children can live in without the ugliness of war, fear and hate.
