What is love?

If someone asked to define love,
I'd say love is the root of all problems and the definition of insanity.
Two people actually willing to give up their freedom,
So that they can talk to the same person and do the same things,
Over and over again expecting different results.
Or much worse, expecting the same result each time!

Love can turn any critic in to the biggest hypocrite.
Turn people who say love doesn't exist into goofy idiots,
Smiling alone while listening to soppy love songs,
While thinking of their significant other.
These are the very same people who were saying,
That they don't have the time or the need for love.

Love feels like needles stuck in so deep that they touch your soul,
Taking them out feels like being stabbed in the heart with a giant knife,
Leaving the needles in you to rot seems like the logical choice,
That's how far people stray from reality when they fall in love.
Love makes people do the craziest things,
That they themselves sometimes cannot explain.

Love is illogical and cannot be explained.
Science, psychology and intellect don't have a clue of what love is,
Love cannot be contained or controlled,
It's like having aids but much worse.
Love is the most terminal disease you will contract,
When you do fall in love, there is no turning back.
