Unapologetic

I'm sorry I don't meet your standards, I follow my own rules.
I don't crave your approval or want any attention,
I just want my voice to be heard, that's all.
You can believe me if you want, or don't I don't really care.
I will always be myself and I won't apologize.
I don't want to be like anyone else,
I'm the first and last of my kind and I'm happy with that.
I will evolve and be better but my life doesn't revolve around being liked,
Not anymore at least, I'm done believing in such naive things.
I like myself the way I am, thank you very much.
I don't need your two cents telling me what I should do,
Or how to live my life, if I want your input I'll ask for it.
If not keep your big mouth shut, the world doesn't revolve around you.
Stop making everything about yourself and what YOU think is right.
You're not God almighty to decide  so for God sake stop trying,
You aren't perfect and neither am I, so check your self before you wreck yourself.
I might sound harsh and I might sound rude but I'm done living in the shadows.
I'm done pretending to agree to keep the peace, I'm done faking.
This is who am like it or not. This is who I choose to be.
